“Beyond the Brink: California’s Watershed” is a documentary by producer Jim Thebaut that focuses on the watersheds of California. Through the lens of creating good public policy and addressing national security, this documentary points to the importance of a full watershed management approach, from the upper Sierra Nevada’s through the agriculture land of the San Joaquin Valley.
Understanding these issues and working to bring collaborative and strategic solutions, Sierra RCD has been awarded funding through the CA Department of Conservation to coordinate upper and lower watershed efforts across the Southern Sierra.
