Make a Plan – to Stay and Plan to GO; Having a solid emergency plan during times like these are crucial. Your family may not all be at the same place when a disaster happens, so having a plan is essential and helps us feel more prepared.

Pack a Go bag – Evacuation comes unexpectedly, so it’s resourceful to have a bag with essentials in case of doing so.

Here are items to obtain in your ‘Go bag’:
Water, non-perishables, medications, flashlights, portable radio, map, phone & charger, first-aid kit, copies of ID, insurance, titles, deeds, and photos of family members.

Assemble a Stay Box – In some cases, it might be safer to stay in your shelter rather than go, this is why assembling a stay box is essential. 

Help Your Friends and Neighbors – Get to know your neighbors now and discuss ways you can prepare in case of a disaster! It is also always nice to make a new friend.
