PG&E OFFERS TO REMOVE WOOD DEBRIS LEFT BEHIND FROM 2020/2021 WILDFIRES
PG&E is offering to remove wood debris from trees PG&E cut down following the 2020 and 2021 wildfires in California. In the Central Valley region, properties impacted by the following fires qualify: KNP Complex Fire, River Fire and Creek Fire.
In the past, PG&E left larger trees on-site after cutting them down. This has created a safety issue and is a major burden for landowners who often can’t remove the trees themselves.
To participate, PG&E requires a signed waiver giving them permission to remove the wood debris. PG&E will confirm receipt in 1-2 business days. The contract crew assigned to remove the debris will contact landowners directly to schedule work.
